In this Top 10 List we are going to talk about the most expensive photograph in the world. We hope that this post will be not only interesting but also informative. 1. 99 Cent II Diptychon: In the Top 10 List of most expensive photograph ever sold we should keep this in the 1st place. This photo is captured by Andreas Gursky. Then second print of 99 Cent II Diptychon sold for $2.48 million in November 2006 at a New York gallery, and finally the third print sold for $2.25 million at Sotheby’s in May 2006.

Maybe it’s the point why this photograph becomes so expensive. This is a photo of a city in Russia.  The photograph is sold for $ 1,750,000 few months ago in Saint Petersburg.  This photo is captured by Dmitry Medvedev.

4. Nude (1925): In the Top 10 List of most expensive photograph we should keep this in the 4th position.  This photo was sold for $1,609,000 in 2008. Not showing explicit nudity, so I decide to place here. This photo is captured by Edward Weston.

5. Georgia O’Keeffe (Hands) (1919): In the Top 10 List of most expensive photograph we should keep this in the 5th position. This photo is captured by Alfred Stieglitz. This photo is successfully sold for $1,470,000 in New York. This photo is proving of amazing camera work.

Georgia O’Keeffe (Nude): In the Top 10 List of most expensive photograph we should keep this in the 6th position.  This photograph was successfully sold for $ 1,360,000 in the year of 2006 in New York. This legendery photograph is captured by Alfred Stieglitz. It is the best camera work of his whole life.

7. Untitled (Cowboy): In the Top 10 List of most expensive photograph we should keep this in the 7th position. This photograph is sold in $1,248,000 in New York. This photo captured by famous photographer Richard Prince. This expensive photo finally sold in 2005.

9. The Great Wave, Sete: In the Top 10 List of most expensive photograph we should put the photo The Great Wave, Sete in the 9th position. The last sold price of this photograph was $838,000. The photographer has done a great work in this photo. The name of this photographer is Gustave Le Gray.

10. Andy Warhol: In the Top 10 List of most expensive photograph we should keep this in the 10th place. The great photo is captured by Robert Mapplethorpe. In 2006 the photo is sold in $643,200.
